I never thought that one day I would be flying one of those "oh so dreaded black flags". Not long ago I was living with my happy family. After the king raised the tax and became a currupt noble he burned all of our village to the ground, killing so many innocent people, my parents included. All ao that he could steal and loot whatever he wanted. Those who chose to stay became guards, or warriors for him and his land. Those like me who had nowhere to go except for what what we no longer had ran to the sea.
