Lyonel of the Red Sands

Lyonel is an apprentice seafarer who spent several years aboard a merchant vessel. He worked hard, followed orders and made decent coin. His title was given to him by his captain after running their skiff into a sandbar when they tried to visit a seaside tavern.

On one voyage near the province of Rougebourg, the ship was caught in a storm and had to be abandoned. When he finally came ashore, he was penniless and alone. On the streets, he picked pockets and took small jobs to survive. Eventually, he met a bard who offered him a place to stay and a guild to join. He now works for the Howling Toads and will fight with them in the upcoming battles.
