Origin Story

Born in the scorching plains of Andalucía around 1485, Capitán Alonso de Pantalones Cortos was a man of conviction, courage, and deep disdain for long pants. As a child, he tore the legs off his nobleman’s uniform, declaring:

> “¡Mis muslos nacieron libres!”

He entered the Spanish navy at 19, and though mocked for his bare-legged boldness, he quickly rose through the ranks — mostly because no one could take their eyes off his sunburnt calves. When asked why he refused proper armor, he famously said:

> “A true warrior shows his legs to fate.”

Legendary Feats

Stormed the beaches of the New World in leather shorts and a feathered cape, earning him the nickname “El Pavo Semidesnudo” (The Half-Naked Peacock).

Convinced an indigenous tribe he was a weather god because his pale legs reflected the sun with blinding intensity.

Survived a jaguar attack by confusing the beast with his neon-orange knee-high socks.
