Coatl

Coatl is part of a race of fey creatures called Koatotl. Bird serpent creatures in distant relation to Quetzalcoatl, the dragon-like deity of the Aztec people.

Roughly 20 years ago Coatl was born into a small tribe of Koatotl known as In Kmachiua (The Note). Whose way of life involved the movement of secrets, knowledge, and information between other fey people and tribes in exchange for material goods or knowledge that would help the tribe grow.

Coatl was 7 years old before they learned how to exchange secrets themselves. They made many trades, deals, and contracts by the time they were 13.

They have had more than one close encounter, bad deal, or wild animal and have nearly lost their life multiple times. As a reward for a very expensive secret they traded to a powerful fey, and they received two elven blades made of giant black viper fangs.

They have learned many different forms of magic, ways of life, and various pieces of miscellaneous knowledge about many various topics and interests.

By the time they were 16, they decided to head out of their tribe on their own, to much disapproval of their tribe. Coatl wants to explore the world and meet new people.

Coatl is now somewhere in their early to mid-20s. (Age doesn't have much meaning after maturity)

They have heard of this fascinating place where decisions are made with battle on a field where no one truly dies. A place of magic, intrigue, knowledge, and people. Their goal is to learn as much as possible while meeting as many people as possible.
