Dürin

Dürin's first memories are growing up around the hearth of his adoptive family, dwarves who raised him in the warmth of their mountain. His adoptive family were merchants who would take him with them trading across Mundis. When Dürin came of age he set off searching for treasure and doing small quests to earn bread and drinking money. Dürin was a remarkably unsucessful treasure hunter until he met Teacup, a dragon from another realm who had taken human form. Teacup's ability to smell gold brought the pair of them a string of sucessful treasure hunts. After closely escaping an ambush with brigands who stole their collected savings Teacup brought Dürin to the camp of the Covenent of the Black Rose. There Dürin discovered a new home accepted into fellowship with new brothers and sisters. Dürin swore to defend the refugees and magic weilders of the Black Rose.
