Ellis Pryce

A man of many faces and infinite professions.  Ellis is not really a rogue, though nobles may call him such, nor is he a fighter or a man of gods.  No, Ellis is a man of the people and disguses himself in the trappings and professions of the working people, where he seeks to listen the the plights of the people, to learn of their struggles, and to teach them the ways of forming communities that work for their benefit and no one else's. In that sense he is a true renessiance man and a jack-of-all-trades master of none.  He takes on whatever job and role is required of him to ingrain himself into communities and become a part of them if only for a moment, or a day, or a week.  He may even take on multiple roles and jobs and even names in the time he spends in a community - who's to say if Ellis is even his real name!  He has been reported to be in two places at once, to wear many faces, to have survived assassinations, and has sometimes been known as "Ellysa" instead of "Ellis."

The only pieces of Ellis or Ellysa that remains consistent is the description of their red bandana which doubles as a face mask when they wishes to keep a low profile and the pamplets they distributes in the places they visit: The Commune Treaties.  Eventually, Ellis leaves, or is executed, or is run out of town, or killed but Ellis will appear again somewhere else, or even in the same community which reveals the strangest detail of Ellis Pryce: no matter who is asked, no matter under what threat of death or truth syrum is applied everyone who is asked all report the same character to the authorities and the same histories as the last known Ellis Pryce.
