Origin Story
Finnloagh McTavish didn’t come to Bicolline to chase glory or fill his purse with easy coin—he came because service is in his blood, and he's got his eye on proving it to the Ordo Servi. Born in the rugged Highlands of Glenfinnan, where the land is as unforgiving as a debt collector, he learned young that true strength isn’t just in swinging a blade, but in the grit to stand your ground when the storm rolls in. At 6’8” and built like the walls of a fortress, Finnloagh looks like he was carved from the very mountains he calls home. But size alone won’t get him into the Ordo Servi—he’s here to show them he’s got more than brawn. Whether it’s hauling supplies, defending a caravan, or negotiating with a band of cutthroats (his own way, mind you), Finnloagh knows that every task, no matter how humble, is worth doing right. And if it takes cracking a few skulls or backs to prove his loyalty, well, he’s got the shoulders for it.
Of course, proving himself to the Ordo Servi means more than just breaking a sweat; it means showing he understands the true meaning of service—giving more than he takes and standing firm when others waver. He’s here in Bicolline to earn Solar, aye, but not for himself—every coin he makes is for the rebuilding of Glenfinnan, to give his people a future beyond scraping by. He’s not just looking for work; he’s looking for a cause, a brotherhood that values strength of heart as much as strength of arm. With his broad grin and a wit sharp enough to cut steel, he’s not above charming—or annoying—his way into the Order, whichever works first. And if the Servi want proof of his worth, they’ll find it in his sweat, his steel, and the loyalty etched into every scar on his back. "I’ll show ‘em," he says with a hearty laugh, "that a Highlander’s hands can build just as well as they break."
