Narsilion Elentar

Narsilion Elentar, born of Calion Glingal of Simaelle, and Ilmaren Narsillion of Tawarloss, brother to Isilmë Elentar. Under the banner of the Guild Tirion.

Like his sister, Isilmë, Narsilion was born on the jagged northern shores of the Tawarloss region of the Terre des Brumes. Calion, their father, was a fine craftsman of the golden age of Simaelle, where his talents were used to enchant many of the sacred weapons and objects of that age. Years after the fall of Simaelle, Calion and a small company of fellow Eldar found the makeshift barge they had used to flee the collapsing island had drifting into the icy seas of the north, into what they had thought to be an endless, cold, abyss. With the last of their rations spent, fear settled in their hearts, However, land was eventually struck, and a small encampment was built in the wilderness of the shoreline. Disoriented from the time at sea, they knew not where, or if still in Mundus, they were.

Illmaren, their mother, came from Tawarloss elves. Icy was her heart and countenance, especially to those considered "outlanders", a contempt common in Tawarloss culture. Illmaren hailed from a long line of seers, skilled in using the ancient seeing pools of tawarloss to fortell, and remember, and observe all the threads that weave Mundus together. From the pools great things were revealed to her.

At first, the Simaelle elves were treated as intruders, but quickly did they become a curiousity and entertaining subject of observation among the Tawarloss, having long spent the millennias in isolation. The golden hair of Calion was something pleasing to Ilmaren, and so she found herself drawing closer and closer to their encampment as the years stretched on. And eventually, love grew between them, and two children were born of their love. The first, Isilmë, their daughter born under a great moon, and the next, their son, Narsilion, born as the first star of the morning shone its brightest.

Much of the early years are beyond the recollection of either child. The peaceful days were all too brief for them. The undead assaults grew more and more ferocious as the years stretched, and before either child had done more than idle and play as young ones do, on a particularly dark night, they were placed in a small fishing boat, and pushed into the icy sea, behind them the sound of hundreds of undead and the clatter of swords filled the silence of night. Far to the south did they drift, into lands warm and green and fair, and the found themselves on the shores of Yula, greeted by the Elves of Irendille, kinsmen, and from their teachings, Narsilion and Isilmë grew ever wise and fair. But eventually their eyes lingered northward, where their past and perhaps future, await them in the snow..
