My Father tried to make a deal with a demon to save our village from famine, but the demon decided to possess him instead and destroy our village. My mother was killed by my possessed father, and I tracked him down when I was older and avenged my mother. The Ordre de Notre-Dame-de-le-Redemption sent inquisitors after this demon, but they saw me slay the body, and so recruited me to their order. The demon was sent back to the immaterium by the Redemptoristes who recruited me, as I was not knowledgeable enough about demons to know how to banish one at the time. I never learned the demon's name, but I know he is still out there, waiting to get his revenge.
