Liera

Liera is a siren of the Second Circle of Hell. She walks the mundus as a Rusalka by day, but by nightfall strange fangs grow from her bloodied mouth and an odd sheen refracts from her hungry eyes.

Found drudged up on the shores of Darganoff in the year 1023, she had little remembrance of her life below in the depths of the ocean. In her life prior, Liera often relied on trickery through her riddles to get by, enchanting men to lend her their coin.

Upon entering the mundus, she found her voice hoarse and gritted from the sand and muck of the sea. She believes she was drugged by a pirate named Pirata Plunderpuss and vowed vengeance on the fool who stole her voice. To make her solar, she entrances weary travellers to aid her, using erotic burlesque-style dancing to pull them into her bidding.

She is known in whispers to steal a man’s soul with the click of her heels. Others, she places in little bottles and keeps them as her gnome pets to do her bidding. The rest, well, let's just say she keeps a supply of men to drain and is well fed.
