M'iko Hadari

M’iko is from a small village of fighters and music. They are one in the same where he is from. When you reach adulthood you are invited to a ceremony where you are placed under a heightened state and fight another young adult taking the ritual, while elders play music around you. It was during this fight that M’iko heard what he calls the “All Mighty Drum”. To M’iko it is a belief that the drum’s music is life itself and to be a great warrior is to be resonant to its reverberations. Was the Drum magic or religion, he wasn’t sure.

Since then M’iko has yearned to grow closer to the Mighty Drum and walk it’s path. When he heard of Bicolline and the artifact beneath the earth that brought the dead back, it felt clear that it was or at least was connected to the drum. To do battle there and die may even bring him closer to the Drum’s song. Perhaps he’ll hear it before rising again. It’s time to leave the village.
