Naoise Stormborn

Once, long ago, there was a storm. This storm passed through the Faewilds, collecting some of the magic of the lands before finally settling over Mundus. And from that storm came the rain. This rain collected in the hollows of the forest and became Naoise. She took on the last name Stormborn to honor the waters that once carried her.

When she was rained down from the heavens, she was pulled from the hollows by a deer. This Silver Deer became her companion, staying by her side as they followed a pull that Naoise could feel but couldn’t explain. After a time, they encountered a magnificent beast, unknown yet hauntingly familiar. The beast told them it was known as the Ravenstag. It granted Naoise full Fae heritage before moving on, getting lost in the mist.

After moving from town to town and forest to forest, Naoise felt the call of the waters grow stronger. “Go to the sea,” they whispered to her. And so she found the crew of The Covenants Refuge, hoping to ease that call within her soul and bidding farewell to her loyal Deer companion. And it did, until a storm came up on the ship, tossing it about the waves. Naoise and the crew feared that all was lost. But then the Leviathan appeared, pulling their ship and another safely to shore. In remembrance of this, the crew of The Covenants Refuge and the Captain that Never Was formed the guild The Scions of Leviathan. They promised that they would honor the sacred creature of the waves that had saved them.
