Origin Story

Nemorra Duskbone was born under a blood moon in the remote hills of Occitanie, where the veils between worlds hang thin and the earth remembers old magics. The villagers whispered of her mother—a bone conjurer who spoke to the dead and grew gardens from blood-fed soil. Nemorra was raised among dried herbs, buried teeth, and rituals murmured in a language older than Latin.

When the famine struck, it was not just crops that died. The spirits, long appeased by offerings and rites, grew restless and hungrier. The people blamed the witches, and Nemorra’s coven was razed in fire and iron. She survived, carrying nothing but a satchel of bones, her mother’s blood-soaked grimoire, and the memory of a life bartered for hers.

Canada called her like a dream wrapped in frost. She crossed the ocean alone, smuggled on a merchant ship, hiding in barrels of dried lavender and leeches. In the wild forests of the New World, she found refuge—harvesting bloodroot and birch bark, whispering to deer skulls, learning to bend her craft to this strange, vast land.

She is neither hero nor villain. Her power is not for spectacle, but for survival. She trades potions for secrets, healings for silence, and her companionship for protection—if you can earn it.

Now, Nemorra has come to Bicolline, not for conquest, but for respite. After years of wandering, she seeks a rare moment of stillness—a chance to rest, drink, observe… and perhaps find new allies for the path ahead. For the winds tell of conflict brewing in far corners, and Nemorra knows better than most: where blood spills, her magic thrives.
