Nyriessa ‘Nyra’ Dewsong

During a brutal raid by soul-hunters—mercenaries who trafficked in magical beings—Nyra’s empathy overwhelmed her. She tried to heal too many, too quickly. The magical backlash left her unconscious for three days. When she awoke, the Fen was burning. Her family was gone.

She did not cry. She stood, gathered the wounded survivors, and led them to safety with songs barely above a whisper. Since that day, she has roamed the world as a wandering healer—not to forget the Fen, but to make sure no one else ever feels that kind of loss.
