Chapter I — The world before

Blood of the God Emperor

Tenestarion was a world of absolute dominion. At its crown sat the God Emperor Proculus Lafrenius Laucrenius, a sovereign whose authority was ordained by blood and enforced by flame — a colossus who bent law, faith, and steel to his singular will. Born into that dynasty, Romulo Laucrenius was raised in the shadow of untouchable power: privileged, sharp, and quietly troubled by the gap between imperial decree and actual justice.

Chapter II — The reckoning

The Wrath of Ascrestus

No empire lasts when it devours its own conscience. The God of Justice, Ascrestus, had watched Tenestarion for an age — its courts perverted, its nobility bloated, its weak crushed beneath the boot of inherited power. When his patience broke, it did not break quietly. Ascrestus did not strike the throne alone. He struck the world.

He did not come to reform Tenestarion. He came to erase it — so that nothing built on its injustice could endure another generation.

The God Emperor Proculus fell not in battle but under the weight of divine judgment, his legacy unmade in an instant. Continent by continent, Tenestarion was consumed — its monuments, its bloodlines, its memory pulled beneath ruin.

Chapter III — The escape

The last ship out of nothing

Romulo did not survive by rank. He survived by choice — and by speed. In the final hours, as the sky cracked and the ground dissolved, he refused to die in someone else's ruin. He fled through the collapsing edges of Tenestarion's reality, crossing the void between worlds with almost nothing: no title, no army, no empire. Only a conviction that had been growing quietly his entire life — that power without merit is tyranny, and that justice must be earned, not inherited.

Chapter IV — The conviction

A new creed from old ash

Arriving in a world utterly foreign to him, Romulo carried the most dangerous thing a survivor can carry: clarity. He had witnessed what unchecked power built, and he had watched Ascrestus tear it to the ground. He did not hate the God of Justice for it. He understood him — perhaps more than he wished to.

Nobility is not a name. It is a record of what you did when no one was watching, and who you shielded when you could have looked away.

He would build no empire. He would defend no dynasty. He would instead build something that had not existed in Tenestarion: a world where standing was earned through action, and law served the many rather than the few.

Chapter V — The brotherhood

Joining the Gabilanes Colirrojos

He found them — or perhaps they found him — in a moment that needed no grand ceremony. The Gabilanes Colirrojos were not knights of a court or soldiers of a crown. They were a guild built on a single principle: that the strong have no right to prey on the weak, and that someone must stand in the gap. Romulo, carrying the ghost of a destroyed world in his chest, understood that principle more viscerally than most who had merely read it.

He joined not as a former prince of empire, but as a man with debts — to the weak his uncle's dynasty crushed, to the justice that destroyed everything he knew, and to the future he now had no excuse not to build.
