| Rúna is a simple human whose past brush with her own mortality has led her to embrace the inevitability of death as part of the great balance. She has also come to recognize the importance of being remembered. As such, she has devoted herself to lending her voice to the stories of the dying. Her song eases their passage and lifts their memories up on the wings of the Grand Corbeau, ensuring that they will achieve a kind of immortality that harmonizes with the equilibrium of the natural world. |
