Trevor Valentia

Trevor Valentia was born into the legacy of House Valentia, a lineage renowned upon a distant continent for its generations of monster hunters and seekers of the supernatural. Such a calling was never a gentle one. The dangers of the trade often claimed the lives of the young before they could fully inherit the wisdom of their elders.

For this reason, the descendants of the Valentia bloodline were traditionally entrusted to a family of scribes and archivists. These keepers of knowledge preserved the chronicles of past hunts, taught the skills required to survive the darkness, and ensured that each generation could carry the legacy forward.

Yet Trevor was born during troubled times.

The people of his homeland had lost faith in the Valentia name. Following a tragedy whose true nature remains unknown to him, anger turned toward the scribes who had long served his family. They were persecuted, driven from their homes, and forced into exile. With the old traditions shattered, Trevor grew up without the guidance that had shaped his ancestors for centuries.

As the years passed, he struggled to find his place in a life that seemed stranger with every passing season. He searched for purpose among stories, ruins, forgotten truths, and the fading echoes of a legacy that many wished to see buried.

What he discovered was not what he expected.

The monsters of the world were rarely as simple as the tales described. Time and experience taught him that the darkest creatures often hide within the hearts of men, and that virtue and wickedness are not determined by race, blood, or origin, but by the choices one makes.

Thus Trevor walks his own path—not as a blind hunter of monsters, but as a seeker of truth.

There remains, however, a secret yet hidden from him.

Unknown to Trevor, his mother was a Dream Fae, a being of the unseen realms. His father, rather than raising steel against her as tradition demanded, chose love over duty and took her as his wife. From that forbidden union Trevor was born, carrying within him a heritage he has yet to discover.

Whether this revelation will prove a blessing or a curse remains unwritten.

And so his story continues.
