Baine

As a child Baine would beg for parents, who never felt the inclination to help or work, and he would watch in awe as well-dressed nobles would walk by. Baine always believed that hard work and a "can do" attitude would get him the kind of wealth he needed to dress just as well. It didn't take long for the harsh realities of life to rob him of the illusions, but not his child like gumption, after happening upon the Curators of the Shifting Viel, Baine new that he had found his calling. The elegance of the elephants and the wonder of the art produced by the Veil were the beauty Baine had longed for, presented without the riches, and he would make use of the questionable tactic his parents had taught him in service of the Veil.
