Irendille campaign of 1002
The Ilta-Machtas struck from the start of hostilities in the heart of the [Black Fortress](/wiki/bicolline/places/arta-morna/) with the determination of a wolf and the agility of an eagle. Laenneck knew that the black banner would no longer fly in the land of [Irendille](/wiki/bicolline/regions/irendille/) at sunset. The ancients had prepared them to fight without ever letting their being be soiled with the feeling of hatred. The Ilta-Machtas have learned to see in their enemies the path to wisdom, because it is they who allow them to test their bravery, their perseverance and their capacity for decision. And above all, they are the ones who force them to fight for their dreams.
