Armies are gathered in [Tolternoth](/wiki/bicolline/regions/nasgaroth/harganeth/tolternoth/) for the control of elven monoliths allowing them to operate portals. The horde demonstrates its efficiency and mobility during a first engagement where it protects a monolith. However, during the second engagement, a bad plan from the general staff (who thought of throwing their troops into an abyss?) decimated the allied army. This does not prevent Glahul from running away to save the precious Veldrin crystals which hold power over the portals.
