Not far away, in [Sumadoma](/wiki/bicolline/events/sumadoma/), in the domain of Lost, the Priestesses of the [Great Dark One](/wiki/bicolline/religions/teratos/) have assembled a powerful army to face the forces of the [True Faith](/wiki/bicolline/religions/true-faith/). Faithful of Teratos inflamed by their demonic fanaticism or mercenaries hired and paid with blood-stained gold, they all line up in a formidable host, guarding the entrance to a sinister religious building. Raised towards the sky like a blasphemy to the powers of light, the stone walls and red stained glass windows of a cursed temple reveal grimacing faces that twist in pain, so many souls locked in this infernal jail. But in the very shadows of this evil sanctuary, a glow is nevertheless visible, coming from a golden skull placed in a sanctified reliquary. The only remains of St-Denis the Walker, martyr of the Varie Faith, the relic is jealously guarded there by hordes of servants of Teratos.

##### Saint-Denis the Walker and the foundation of Haldorf
[Haldorf](/wiki/bicolline/regions/federation-argannaise/haldorf/) is said to have been founded in 350 CE when **Saint-Denis the Walker** built a **True Faith** religious building on the domaine of **[Brahma](/wiki/bicolline/regions/federation-argannaise/haldorf/brahma/)**. Saint-Denis had been sent by the church of True Faith at that time an imperial religion, to convert pagans to the True Faith. He was beheaded by local leaders in 370\.
According to legend, Saint-Denis walked ten paces, his head in his hands, continuing to preach. It is fitting that Haldorf, known as a bastion of the True Faith, should have such an origin story.
