### Elves

Both [wood elves](/wiki/bicolline/species/wood-elves/) and [dark elves](/wiki/bicolline/species/dark-elves/) can be found in [Mundus](/wiki/bicolline/other/mundus/).

Wood elves, commonly called simply elves, primarily inhabit [Irendille](/wiki/bicolline/regions/irendille/). They are known for pointy ears, longevity and general concern for nature. Generally lively and agile, the elven knights, known as Ilta-Machta, wield bows and swords with lightning precision. The language of the elves ancestral texts is Sindarin.

There are also dark elves, that primarily live in [Nasgaroth](/wiki/bicolline/regions/nasgaroth/). Dark elves are not very common as many of them left Mundus in [the Great Exodus](#great-exodus---1010) in 1010\. .
