Divine or Extra-worldly Beings

There are as many gods and goddesses as there are imaginations in Mundus. A list of currently active religions and their powers can be found here. For a more cultural and historical look at some of the religions in Mundus, see the section below. For the most part, there are two prevailing ideologies. First, that divine forces exist and they can be defined, or second, that what is perceived as the divine is really some sort of scientific or supernatural force that is yet to be explained and is simply channelled through the imagination of religious leaders.

What is known is that there are certain powerful entities that can be communicated with that have knowledge and power far beyond that of any mortal. It is also commonly accepted that these entities come from other planes of existence. Some examples of commonly referenced entities follows.
