According to the account by the [Hibou Argent](/wiki/bicolline/organizations/silver-owl/), [the Watchers](/wiki/bicolline/supernatural/the-watchers/) came from beyond the world and could only enter [Mundus](/wiki/bicolline/other/mundus/) through designated doors, or 9 monoliths centred on points of telluric energy. I have not been able to confirm that the Watchers and the entities referenced as the Unnamable (sometimes called the void) are the same or how they might relate to the Guardians or “The Old Ones” referenced in lore of the religion of [Fel'Lökla](/wiki/bicolline/religions/fellokla/).

#### Telluric Forces
Something that features heavily in sources is Telluric Energy that collects around Telluric faults. This energy relates to the way that magical power converges at certain points on Mundus. This power can often be harnessed through things like ziggerats or obelisks built over rifts or convergences that can allow creatures from other dimensions through into Mundus. Throughout history, several figures have used these to do things like open portals to other planes. Using this magic often requires massive sacrifice of human life. There are also [references](https://ghoria.org/pages/ressource.php?id_ressource=12&id_guilde=1) to the need to use Veldrin crystals to open these portals. A list of known Telluric points of power is not readily available, but there are references to these areas as they have been the centre of conflict over time.

While most of Mundus can be freely seen on the map, there are several places that either do not appear to everyone or have special magical properties like being known to have telluric faults. Given their importance, I have provided a short list of ones I have consistently come across. Perhaps one day I will expand on this section.

[Syrn](/wiki/bicolline/places/city-of-syrn/) When the First Ones wanted to create peace, they needed a place for it to grow. They created the First City for the first race to be born. The First Ones created large magic zones. In these zones, the dark elves changed to become something different. The mortal races were born. In these zones, the races mortals created Gods. The First Ones took back the magic of these zones after the creation of the Gods. The Guardians were First Ones. They lived in another world in the stars. The Prophets When the First Ones left the world to to pursue their brother, they left us a way to lead our world while they were gone. Darkness spoke to his brothers in the pleasure of war. Great calamities fell on our world and we must survive or the Darkness will exercise its right to rule the world. May the Prophets help us.

In the later part of **[King Solar](/wiki/bicolline/people/king-solar/)**’s reign, skirmishes with the [Empire](/wiki/bicolline/regions/empire/) and the forces of chaos became more and more frequent. Drawn by the strong telluric energy, hordes of dark creatures and demon worshipers from **the [province of Garganesh](/wiki/bicolline/regions/terres-dauquesse/garganesh/)** in the **[Terres d’Auquesse](/wiki/bicolline/regions/terres-dauquesse/)** began to venture into the lands of [Andore](/wiki/bicolline/regions/andore/). Most notably, the swamp [orc](/wiki/bicolline/species/orcs/) invasion of 997 CE and the campaigns of the brutal and merciless mercenary, **[Caïus Brutus Bubonius](/wiki/bicolline/people/caius-brutus-bubonius/)**, under command of the necromancer **[Uskuada](/wiki/bicolline/people/uskuada/)** ([La Bataille des Deux Ponts](https://ghoria.org/pages/evene.php?id_guilde=1000&id_evene=2), [La Légion Infernale](https://ghoria.org/pages/allies_ennemis.php?&id_guilde_link=15&id_guilde=1000).)
The violence was focused in the **province of [Loren](/wiki/bicolline/regions/andore/loren/)**, once a peaceful province on the border of the kingdom of [Irendille](/wiki/bicolline/regions/irendille/). The troops of Garganesh took several domains and were able to harness the **telluric energy** to build a cursed monolith. **Brutus Bubonius** used this monolith to sacrifice the entire population of two domaines to feed the pact he made with the demon **Le [Tenamuahc](/wiki/bicolline/supernatural/tenamuach/)** ([Campagne de Somière](https://ghoria.org/pages/evene.php?id_evene=32&id_guilde=1000), [La Légion Infernale](https://ghoria.org/pages/allies_ennemis.php?&id_guilde_link=15&id_guilde=1000).)

50 years after the coronation of **King Solar,** and the time had finally come for the **[Great Khan of Garganesh](/wiki/bicolline/people/great-khan-of-garganesh/)** to launch a full invasion of Andore. In spring 1004, the inhabitants of the village in the province [Boisefort](/wiki/bicolline/regions/andore/boistfort/) were taken by surprise by invaders from Auquesse. The horde made quick work of the villagers, killing all in their path. The province of Boistfort fell to the forces of the **Great Khan** and the surviving population was reduced to [slavery](/wiki/bicolline/other/slavery/) in the **City of Garganesh** ([Invasions du Chaos](https://ghoria.org/pages/evene.php?id_evene=101&id_guilde=1000).)
