Territoire de L’Oubli (Forgotten Lands)

Territoire de L’Oubli (Forgotten Lands) is an inhospitable land made up of swamps, mountains, chasms, dark old forests and deserts to the east. Green skin species like goblins and orcs are predominant but you will also find ratmen, trolls, and other creatures. The territory is mostly unexplored with many NPCs holding the available land.

According to the Shmans of Gruk, the lands belong to orcs. A prophecy was made that when the moon was red, a promised leader would arise and receive the blessing of the Volcano of Tar-Ock-Doon. With this power, they would lead the orcs to take back their land. The orc warlord, Garzhak Steelclaw, assembled all the tribes into a war host, with the promise of driving back human and dark elf incursion into the Forgotten Lands. A large gathering called by Garzhak was called at the Volcano of Tar-Ock-Doon.

Volcano of Tar-Ock-Doon.

Hidden in the wilds of the Forgotton Lands, somewhere north of the great desert of Al Saour Asif, is valley, with a mountain as black as night at its center. The Greenskins call it Hellspeak, the Mountain of Hell. Orc shamans are said to draw magical power from the volcano and legend says that the fissure deep in the mountain leads to an infernal city.

The Necromancer Daolok

The Necromancer Daolok arrived in the Forgotton Lands a long time ago. Many Orcs fell under his influence but others defied him. Those who stood against him were killed and brought back through necromancy, becoming the first residents of the undead area of Necropolia. It is said that even the foundations of the city are cursed so that if you die there you will become undead.

The city was erected over the centuries, on the west side of the Mont des Enfers. The City of the Damned is invisible to the careless eye that observes the valley. But when we approach the black mountain, it suddenly appears, like an immense dark monolith on a high point. The city grows with each night that passes on this world, because it was built by the damned beings of the Terrible Necromancer. The dead do not know exhaustion and weariness, working tirelessly with labor that no man could bear.

Its ramparts are wide and high. The city is full of dark, chaotic streets that culminate towards the top. A vast cemetery extends from the foot of the mountain to the very walls of the city. But most of the city is located within the mountain itself. We know almost nothing about these dark places, the caves are endless. And an evil haunts these cursed places, where even the bravest heroes would not dare to venture.

Such is the cursed city of the Master of the Dead. The damned beings languished there for ages, patiently awaiting the return of their Master. His spirit came back to life, and the dead immediately resumed their work, where they had left off. The City of the Damned will quickly be rebuilt. Soon, it will vomit out the legions from beyond the grave who will sow desolation in their wake, under the banner of the Scourge of the Realms, the Necromancer Daolok.
