According to the Guardians, mankind were created in the hidden city of Syrn. (Note, this conflicts with the Dark Elves story of creation which places dark elves as the first species, though also in Syrn.) In the Guardian narrative, magic was given as a gift to these first beings. Due to the violence and selfishness, mankind was expelled out of Syrn in order to populate the world under the guidance of the Guardians. But at some point, a threat arrived that was so serious that the Guardians had to leave Mundus behind. They left to face the threat, which many have called “The Watchers.”

While Orcs are often in clans, they sometimes form larger forces including partnering with dark elves against the forest elves and with other orc clans such as in the case of when 17 orc clans came together with dark elves to invade the central lands under the influence of the necromancer Uskuada.

There are also dark elves, that primarily live in Nasgaroth. Dark elves are not very common as many of them left Mundus in the Great Exodus in 1010. .

Syrn When the First Ones wanted to create peace, they needed a place for it to grow. They created the First City for the first race to be born. The race of dark elves lived in Syrn. The development was great, it covered our world. Then the war for magic began. The dark elves fought to the death. For several generations, Syrn remained deserted. The Portals The dark elves were at war for dominance of magic. The First Ones were worried that their children would die. They created a portal in the First City. The dark elves could use it to go to the surface of the world. The portal of the First City opens with the Book of Uskhena Gadah Gos. The elves could now move between the First City and the surface. They could survive the war. Other ways to create these portals were developed. The waudit can be summoned with certain centers. The portal of the First City allows one to move between worlds Asthena Gadah Sos the First Ones created the portals of our world. With them, the dark elves could move between the First City and the surface of the world. The grand portal could also be used to travel among the stars. When the dark elves went to live on the surface, the First Ones closed the portals. The war among the dark elves ceased. The First Ones gave a Book to the dark elves. It can be used to open the portals again. Orapal Camas When the dark elves were at peace, the Book was there. When the dark elves discovered the magic of Orapal Camas, the book was there. When the dark elves fought for the magic, the book was there. When the elves dark left Syrn, the Book was there. The history of this race is in this book. The Book was closed when the elves dark came to the surface. The Telluric Zones of the dark elves were fighting for magic, the First Ones created portals to send the dark elves to the surface. The dark elves could not live on the surface. The First Ones created large magic zones. In these zones, the dark elves changed to become something different. The mortal races were born. In these zones, the races mortals created Gods. The First Ones took back the magic of these zones after the creation of the Gods. The Guardians were First Ones. They lived in another world in the stars. They created several worlds because they wanted to learn from others entities. They created a first race and waited until it became mortal. They learned from our actions. When one of them left his original world because he wanted to dominate, they followed him. They wanted to stop him. The Prophets When the First Ones left the world to to pursue their brother, they left us a way to lead our world while they were gone. Darkness spoke to his brothers in the pleasure of war. The five first ones could not prevent it in time, and the Council ordered that the world would be tested. Great calamities fell on our world and we must survive or the Darkness will exercise its right to rule the world. May the Prophets help us.

Both were designed and forged by the dark elves. The fight between the dark and light side of Man is long and inevitable and is part of his search. Many people are working hard to try to reopen the gate of Mondakasgoroth and like all things have its opposite many others are joining forces to keep it closed. We will not pass judgment because very often judgment lies, but one thing is certain, you have the key to what will or will not be the world of tomorrow.

Moonstone has belonged to the Dark Elves since the dawn of time. They lost it in the last century during the Swamp Wars where it was stolen by orcs. Having learned that the stone was now in the hands of the Lord of Brabancourt, the high council of Nasgaroth made a request to recover their object of worship, but it went unheeded. Political attempts followed one another, but in vain.

In recent weeks, tensions between Dark Elves and Humans have increased across the country and the crisis between the two powers took a dramatic turn last week. Prince Morath declared war on King Solar as well as Emperor Gar III and all adjacent provinces. The nine great Dark Elf families gave their absolute support to Prince Morath. Prince Morath's declaration of war spread like wildfire. According to our information, hundreds of mercenaries across the country are preparing to sell their services to the highest bidder...

Several times a year, murderous expeditions led jointly by dark elves and mountain orcs bloody the northwest of the kingdom of Irendille. The hatred that the Mountain Orcs and Dark Elves have for the Forest People is ancient. In 914 of the first era the dark elves completed the construction of a fortress on the coasts of the kingdom of Irendille, without the knowledge of the wood elves. This advanced post allowed the kingdom of Nasgaroth to establish itself firmly in Irendille to orchestrate its murderous raids. Most of these are carried out by brutal mercenaries recruited from the mountain orcs. Partially destroyed in 954 of the first era during the Battle of the Bud, burned in 967 of the first era, taken numerous times and recaptured as many times, this fortress of death is still a thorn in the kingdom of Irendille today. .

Origins

According to the dark elves, Mundus used to be completely dark. When the creator god had the idea to create beings to populate the world, he created the perfect species in total darkness. This species, dark elves, grew in sophistication and intellect. One day, the creator had the idea to create light to admire his creation. Pleased with what he saw, he wanted to create more. However when he tried to copy it, he made the wood elves, who were a sad imitation of the perfection of the dark elves. Always chasing the perfect copy, the creator made species after species. Thus were born the blue men, the leprechauns, the satyrs, the goblins and the orcs until his last failure - humans, weak and mortal. Ashamed, he decided to no longer intervene in creation. He took humans as his protégés in order to give them a chance of survival.

The other gods chose their spheres of influence and their preferred species. The elves believe they were the only species to remain without god because gods feared their power.

While this story is not accepted by all, most historical evidence does suggest dark elves were one of, if not the, oldest civilization. Blue men oral tradition says they were there long before us, the witnesses of the world. Other titles given to them are the guardians of the moonstone and the eternals.

Dark elf tradition speaks of nine immortal families of Tolimarth. While my knowledge of portals is limited, I believe Tolimarth is another plane that exists outside of Mundus. Due to the influence of this extra-planer magic, many other species find the magic of Nasgaroth strange and disturbing.

In the past, the dark elves allowed some humans to settle in the provinces of Harganeth and Nasgaroth (the province has the same name as the region.) However dark elf extremists exterminated all the humans present after barely a century.

Tolimarth is the mother province where Queen Malika lived. Some stories also speak of Mondakasgoroth, an underground city that was closed up by sage dark elves to protect their people.
