Irendille campaign of 1001  
The autumn 1001 expedition was led by Count Ashtar of House Osgoroth, supported by the two [orc](/wiki/bicolline/species/orcs/) clan leaders, Waash and Pok Amargath. After terrible clashes around Ent Hill, which saw hundreds of [elves](/wiki/bicolline/species/elves/), orcs and Rangers lose their lives, the [Wood Elves](/wiki/bicolline/species/wood-elves/) pushed the forces of [Nasgaroth](/wiki/bicolline/regions/nasgaroth/) back to the gates of the fort. The ruin is still under the control of the [dark elves](/wiki/bicolline/species/dark-elves/). But the wood elves led by Laenneck, of the Wolf clan, and helped by Esteban's foresters surround the dark elves and their orc allies entrenched in the ruin.
