Dinant :

A little over three centuries ago, Andore became an independent kingdom which would experience its golden age with the birth of more than seven provinces. Dinant was the second to see the light of day and one of the most prosperous and loyal that the kingdom would know. But things change, evolve and time takes its course. Lord Artagnan could never have imagined the turn of events.

ay it be sure of all citizens of the New Republic of Dinant and allied lands that:
For supporting Morcius--Grand Khan of the cursed lands of Garganesh, Apprentice of the Mummy Isphet and cause of the latter's return to our world, Wizard of Skulls, and supposed to be the Demon of the Underworld named Tenamuahc--in his attempt and ultimately success to reach the post of Scholar, the following persons are considered de facto illegal and heretic of the worst kind:
Varania Do'Denir, Queen of Nasgaroth
Hugo Bartez, Charlatan and Imperial Sorcerer
By this decree, it is the task of all Dinantais and Dinantaise, by decree lord, and all followers of the Burning Flame, by divine decree, to hunt down the felons and apprehend them so that they are questioned by the Inquisition and subjected to judgment by the Brazier.
Let it also be certain that any individual collaborating or maintaining any relationship with the said felons will be considered accomplices, both in the eyes of the Inquisition and the militia and the Free Army of Dinant.
What's more, the felon Hugo Bartez sees himself on the field being considered ungodly and excommunicated from the Goddess and her dogmas. We also urge the Solarite Lectorate and its representatives to do the same, given the severity of the actions of the Felon towards all the principles that the Goddess represents.
It should be noted that the other supporters of Morcius, such as the necromancer Veldruk, were already on the Dinantaise and Inquisitivee blacklist and that this decree only strengthens this position.
The Ardent Inquisition with the support and decree of office from Clowake Eldaloth de Grossouvre, Seigneur de Dinant, make this decree official on the field.
Wisdom and Courage.

Dinant 1017,

Since the declaration of independence of the province in November 1014, the links between Andore and Dinant had experienced ups and downs, but never, O never, had it been so sharp. Dinant loudly proclaimed its independence and only asked to free itself from the tyranny of a nobility weighed down by the ravages of time. Andore for its part cried out for the High Treason of a guild having sworn loyalty to the throne of the kingdom since its welcome by Henryk de Brabancourt himself.

The cannons of Moussillon first resonated in Grossouvre and Séverac. The general staff, thinking they could put an end to it quickly, were surprised by the resilience of Lord Clowake who defended his borders at the risk of his life. Andore raised its armies and again Dinant resisted. Sir Edouard de Tarpignan launched all his troops in a final assault at the same time as Clowake's allies responded to counter the invader.

The bards and minstrels are already preparing their songs and laments, because the fate of Dinant will be decided on the morning of the fourth day of November 1017. Will you be part of history during this memorable battle?

Summer 1023: Réservak is elected lord of Dinant.

Spring 1023: Clowake must leave his position as lord of Dinant because no domain is in his name. An election will take place at Great Battle 1023.

Spring 1019: Clowake de Grossouvre replaces A'maël Féannar as lord of the province.

October 1018: His Majesty Hubert of the Argan Federation requests a regional vote on an Edict: We desire an alliance and merger between the Argan Federation and the province of Dinant? The Edict is accepted with 16 votes. The lord of Dinant A'maël Féannar agrees to join the Federation, a decision which is immediately followed by the agreement of the ambassador Tod the Scarlet. On this 13th day of October 1018, the province of Dinant is now part of the Argan Federation. This alliance now makes the peace treaty signed with Andore during the Great Ball of 1018 null and void.

November 1017: Following the Invasions of Dinant, the province remains an independent territory and cannot be annexed by Andore for a period of two years.

August 1017: Following the election, A'maël Féannar is elected lord of Dinant.

Spring 1017: Lord Clowake no longer has a domain in the province so the title of lord will be put up for election at the great battle 1017. The province is meanwhile without a lord.

February 1016: During the evening of Solara in Andore, Clowake of Salmarak is proclaimed Lord of Dinant by Quentak. Everything is done in the presence of a large majority of property titles. Any challenge to this appointment will result in a seigneurial election.

Battle 1015: Quentak replaces Davidak of Salmarak.

Battle 1014: The province of Dinant leaves the kingdom of Andore to become an independent province.

Winter 1011: The lord is Salmarak of Buy.

At the creation of the Kingdom of Ozame, in the year 712 of the first era, the part of Andore which is today the province of Dinant almost became part of Ozame. The use of knowledge stones was necessary to decide because the population was so undecided. Nowadays Dinant maintains excellent relations with this neighboring and friendly Kingdom.

Following the independence of the Kingdom of Andore, the province of Dinant experienced an era of prosperity. Renowned for its hunting grounds and its hospitable climate, Dinant has become, with the expansion of Andore, a coveted space. The year 987 saw the eldest Artagnan, then aged 25, take power thanks to the popular vote. Since the beginning of the 8th century, the Artagnan family has been based in Lucheux in Chalucet. The family castle was completed in the mid-9th century and the Grossouvre estate contains the family's ancestral hunting grounds. Lord Artagnan, a worthy representative of his noble family, is renowned for his keen sense of values as well as his blind loyalty to the Kingdom.

It was around the year 1000 that Lord Artagnan decided to more seriously invite guilds and noble families to come and settle in his province. At the time, he had no idea of the excitement that would follow this decision.

The first years of the millennium were shaken by real expansion campaigns in Dinant. Almost all of the strongholds in the province would vibrate to the sound of steel and war machines. The year 1004 finally brought a truce to the clashes and mainly the guilds of Brabancourt, Compagnons du Destin and Montfort established themselves in Dinant.

June 1005: The domain of Harcourt in the lordly stronghold of Chalucet is hit by attacks from the undead. Its leader, Baron Louis de Harcourt, tried in vain to notify Lord Artagnan. A company of adventurers, led by the mage Owen, will succeed in eliminating a necromancer named Dogmatar and thus resolve the situation.

A few days later, the Vaudémont estate, in Villentrois, was engulfed in violent fighting. The war raging in Boistfort spills over there and the forces of Chaos take over the domain. This event did not leave Lord Artagnan indifferent, who reacted promptly by sending forces to the southwest of his province. It was enough to awaken the population of Dinant to the problems of the south of the Kingdom.

January 1006: The barony of Harcourt has been buried in snow for several weeks. For several days now, it has been welcoming groups of mercenaries and hunters who have been pursuing imposing creatures for weeks, which probably come from the hordes of Chaos who fought in the region last summer.

These groups settled at the Manoir de Harcourt which at this season welcomes many trappers starting their trapping season, they come to spend a few days there for the final preparations before leaving for long months alone on their trap lines.

The arrival of the "foreigners" did not go unnoticed, both because of their equipment

October 1018: Royal Edict of the Argan Federation, On this historic day, October 13, 1018 marks the beginning of a new era. The alliance and merger between the Arganne Federation, initially composed of the provinces of Arganne and Haldorf, and the province of Dinant was unanimously ratified by the members present of the regional council. The lord of Dinant A'maël Féannar, a worthy representative of her people, also agreed to the proposal. The alliance of kingdoms came to fruition with the blessing of Ambassador Tod the Scarlet. Let this be known and known.

The Arganne Federation comes from the union of the provinces of Arganne and Haldorf. During the Arganne invasions of Haldorf in 1009, King Tod conquered Haldorf. The provinces united to form the Federation in 1010. In 1018, following the independence of the province of Dinant from Andore, the free Dinant chose to join the Federation.

King Sven Aegirsson after his coronation in the summer of 1005 ordered the archives of 712 to be reopened. After consultation, he did not fail to remind King Solar that the entire province of Dinant at that time had almost become part of the Kingdom of Ozame. A vote had also taken place at the time in the presence of the Keepers of Knowledge to decide.

Today, King Sven Aegirsson I wants to recover this plot of land which is found on archive maps within the borders of Ozame. These records date back to the time when cartographers traced the border between Ozame and Andora. But this stroke of the pen dates back almost three hundred years and in reality, this land located in the current province of Dinant has always been inhabited by people from Andore, which Lord Artagnan loudly claims.

Our barricade withstood several more assaults. But we had probably sinned without confession, because God punished us in the most horrible way possible. While we were confronting a group of skirmishers on the road, Brother Édouard set foot in a nest of terrible Dinant hornets, surely the most fearsome wasps in the Central Lands. The swarm of wasps enveloped several of our knights and, trapped under helms and hauberks, they afflicted us with terrible stings. Brother Édouard was the most horribly affected. Out of action, he was so blistered that it was impossible for us to remove his helmet. Charis of Edinburgh almost had his eye gouged out by a voracious wasp. Another further away was convulsing on the ground in agony, pierced on all sides. These wasps caused us more losses than Ozame's army.
