Necromancers are common villains in historical sources, though of course there are those that claim they are misunderstood or found ways to use them for their own gain. These powerful mages appear to have been human at some point before becoming some other kind of being. Some famous necromancers are Uskuada, Samaste, Isphet, and the former ba ron of Mehl-el-Nail. These powerful wielders of magical energy often use spells like Desolation and call upon the undead to help them achieve their goals.

While Orcs are often in clans, they sometimes form larger forces including partnering with dark elves against the forest elves and with other orc clans such as in the case of when 17 orc clans came together with dark elves to invade the central lands under the influence of the necromancer Uskuada.

While battles for land raged across the central land, the powerful necromancer of Teratos, Uskuada, plotted in secret. Inviting representatives from Garganesh (now a province of Auquese), Nasgaroth, the Forgotten Territories (Territoire de L’Oubli) as well as the Misty Lands (Territoire des Brumes) to the secret city of Syrn where they hatched a plot. Uskuada wanted to take control of the central lands in to capture the magical energy needed to open a portal to Gadar-Hos, the realm of chaos, and therefore pull the whole world into darkness.

The Great Khan, motivated by his desire to raise the demon Tenamuach, would send his troops from Garganesh to Andore. Dark Elves and Orc tribes would march on the imperial capital of Mariembourg. And Uskuada would lead a legion of undead upon the centre of the empire.

Order of Our Lady of Redemption were able to discover this plot by Uskuada, follower of Teratos. The True Faith Holy See had also warned against in-fighting and urged unity to fight rising chaos.

Several years of fighting followed, with massive losses on both sides. Particularly horrifying were the mass sacrifices of whole domaines of people as the forces of chaos attempted to open their portals and summon their demons.

998 - In the south of the kingdom of Andore, the Necromancer Uskuada, had given a lunar stone into the hands of the Orcs, so that a magical enclave could be erected, impregnable without this stone being removed. Standing in the center of the enclave, on a hill behind the Orc camps, stood a totem with grotesque and menacing shapes. A true insult to King Solar, this totem should be invested with the stone of Andore in order to eradicate the threat of invasion by the green people. Entrusting the responsibility of repelling the enemy to General Henryk, King Solar would grant him a province in the event of victory. Because in the event of a defeat, what would remain of the Kingdom?

In the year 1004, Andorian troops were able to retake their lands and destroy Brutus’ monoliths. Driven mad with revenge at the defeat of his mercenaries, the Great Khan of Garganesh swore revenge. In the hidden city of Syn, he met with the necromancer Uskuada of Nasgaroth, representatives of the Terres de Brumes (Mistlands) and the Forgotten Territories. Together they planned an invasion of the central lands with the Great Khan focusing his force on Andore.

50 years after the coronation of King Solar, and the time had finally come for the Great Khan of Garganesh to launch a full invasion of Andore. In spring 1004, the inhabitants of the village in the province Boisefort were taken by surprise by invaders from Auquesse. The horde made quick work of the villagers, killing all in their path. The province of Boistfort fell to the forces of the Great Khan and the surviving population was reduced to slavery in the City of Garganesh (Invasions du Chaos.) Additionally, the horde took possession of the telluric point of Boisfort - allowing the necromancer Uskuada to open a portal to the realm of demons (Province de Boisfort.)

1005 - Rise of Uskuda and the war of the Central Lands

Uskuada was a powerful necromancer from Nasgaroth. Driven by her devotion to Teratos and desire to open the portal of Gadar-Hos, she moved towards her objective to capture the major telluric points of power in the world. Uskuada’s quest led her to commit great violence.

An alliance of Andore and the True Faith was able to defend the telluric zone and keep Uskuada form using it to fuel the portal, but not before she destroyed the city of IIma Oron in Irendile.

Night of Ka-Ba-Oloth -

The telluric zone of Oron was defended by the forces of the True Faith and Andore.

As part of Uskuada’s plan to capture the major telluric points in the world to activate the Gardar-Hos portal, the Irendile city of Iima Oron must happen
